Really? I thought gravity fed town water was for poor people countries.

But yeah, the generator is a saviour. Speaking of which I better go put some diesel in.

The only problem is I don't really know when the normal power has been restored, unless I keep checking the loading.

Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. On an unrelated note, Brett says 'Hi'. He has started at the new job and is a busy boy! All's well! He didn't ditch us! :)

Hi Brett,

This is in poor taste...so I assume most of you will like it.

The ATS flicks back to standard power when it's restored, but doesn't send a signal to the generator to turn off. So if I miss the transfer for whatever reason, the genset will continue to just idle on zero loading, but is still using diesel. Which sucks, because then you have to manually turn off the genset, then turn it back on, and have yet another transfer. But it's not that big of a deal to have power when noone else does!

Hahaha, as just demonstrated in real time, the mains feed was back on, so I dropped the idling genset, and then mains went out yet again, so the genset went back into emergency override and started up. Scared the living bejeezus out of me. If you've ever had your head right against a giant Cummins diesel engine when it starts up unexpectedly, you'll know what I mean!!

Weather is still pretty hairy down here!

My basketball ring just fell over (I know that seems pretty insignificant, but it's pretty Posted Image'ing heavy, takes two people to just roll it on the wheels) and my massive ladder is now at the complete other end of the shed than it started. I have snapped umbrellas, all sorts of little shit.

Neg, Gets treated at a plant, pumped to resevoirs which is on a hill then gravity fed to the houses, there would be no point in putting a pump between there and houses as there is already a lot of water pressure.

Haha, I don't think anyone will be getting to work on time this morning. This is as bad as a few months back. It's nearly December, go home storm, you're drunk!

Good thing is, because nobody else has power, my internet is quick. It's like the whole internet is already on my computer.

Let's turn Jaguar into a Mustang!

Stay classy, Ford.

Although the Jag in Skyfall still looks classy.
