Herro.
After Mucho's Bullsh!t (Not bad stuff, but i run its course.) in the other thread, I figured I'd make a fresh one. Just to let all you newbies know what real powahz is like .

Here's my new car, A 5.7ltr LS1 (355ci in the old money) VY Series 2 SS.
Fark she's nice I must say. Well in comparison to my old Liberty. Not just in the power stakes, just everything is much nicer. Being four years older will help that no doubt.

Anyway some Stats.
Its totally standard minus a crummy catback exhaust system and some VE SS 18" rims.

Holdens quoted figures as follows:
Kerb Weight (kg) 1664
Power 245kW @ 5600rpm
Torque 465Nm @ 4000-4000rpm
Acceleration 0-100Km/h (secs) 6.6

On the board for first up mods is:
Over The Radiator Cold Air Induction.
MAFless tune
Darren Difilippo full exhaust system.

After that, I don't know. With any luck those mods will see 250kw@rw.

That is purely your opinion. The VY is exeptionally well built. The power is tremendous even in standard form. The Interior is as good if not better than B4. The seats are incredibly comfortable, and the onboard computer (what ever you wish to call it) has just about every bell and whistle you could want.

So as far as im concerned. It has anything Subaru has produced at least matched.

I must add that Paul's new SS is a very nice car. To state that it is shit and crappy is: 1. plain rude. 2. an uninformed opinion. Paul has every right to be excited over his new car! It's a huge step up for the young bloke and is heaps nicer that his Suby, For that matter, I thought that the interior and comfort of his 03 SS was a leap ahead of my 03 Liberty.

Well thats it.
I'm not after a street fighter after all. It will be plenty fast enough with the auto. Hey, the fastest drag cars in the world (minus top fuelers) use auto's .
