I think I've got like $8k a year in cover for dentist shit through Bupa, so fingers crossed it doesn't cost me anything.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

It depends doesn't it? if its a Bupa dentist it might be totally covered, if not, you have to pay the gap... but then again, it does also depend on the procedure... the more they have to do, the less it is covered...but have a go... you are rich...

Yeah I probably won't see a doc aboot this leg pain.

So you will see a doc if you are dead? I think my then its too late... unless its doc Frankenstein...

You don't go to the doctor for YOU, Adam. You go to the doctor for all the people around you that are sick and tired of listening to the whining.

Thats the thing...I kind of don't know when I hit the VOD yet... LOL! I've run my car to 120km/h from 60km/h and took the rpm to about 6000rpm, and didn't really feel anything bad...

With the 4AT, your best range is around 65/70-120. 5AT, kick back from 80-120 is the sweet spot.

Only other way I could get a good kick was to really load her up, but even then it bogged down straight away. I had the stall converter in the Forester, but that was a custom jobbly.

floor it from about 2000rpm to redline in any gear. If the auto is anything like the manual, you will have some pull from 1800-4200rpm, HIT VOD, then the second turbo kicks in and it pulls hard from about 4300-6400rpm, then the power tapers off a little to redline.

However, the vod won't really bother you in the above situation, there's no drop off in power. If however, you go wot to 4000rpm then change up, you will drop into vod and hit a brick wall for a second or two. You quickly learn to drive around it and I suspect it's not as bad in the auto (not sure).

re: boost gauge, could stick it down in front of the ash tray if you don't use it. Otherwise the neatest spot is just next to the a-pillar on the dash imo.

Thanks mate... I'll try that in the auto... thing does still change up in sports mode too, but we'll see... good to know the VOD is not that bad in the auto.. thought I was just making it up...

I might look into a boost gauge, just for fun... if I can find a nice place to put it too... obviously, I don't really need it, but its just a nice to have thing I guess...
