Hey guys
So as many of you know the old RX was written off a while ago and I've now got myself a MY02 RS and im making a thread for it.

So far ive kept it fairly stock other than a decent cat-back, black wheels, and a few other minor aesthetic mods.
I'm not too sure what the plan is with this car, but well see how I go, and any suggestions are welcomed

I'd prefer it with the badge and wing to be honest. Do you live in a rainforest? That driveway pic is pretty epic. I feel as if a Tyrannosaurus Rex is gonna pop out, although it isn't raining yet...

Really nice car and I'm keen to see what you do with it man. Looking clean.

Keep the servicing up to date and just enjoy it .

The sti grill and headlights are cool but can be expensive. The Koji headlight mod is good though.

Also colour code then orange reflecters!

What do you think of it compared to the RX?

I was gonna paint them black today actually but i was busy, thats coming when i have paint:)
Compared to the RX its umm... its smaller but it feels slightly quicker and handles a bit better in my opinion.
I like it but sometimes im missing my RX

Yeah im still unsure about wing vs wingless, i only did it yesterday so it might go back on.

i always wanted to buy some of them for mine, but have never been bothered to, i've seen them form an aussie shop on ebay for just under $300 a pair. but cbf looking atm

Wing and badges back on. Change the wheels to WRX ones, maybe drop it a bit, but leave it practical. Swap to those white NSW plates. The indicators/reflectors might look better clear/colour coded. My ideas anyway not a huge fan of the yellow fog lights, they look cleaner clear or even capped off.

I drove a WRX one of these once, wasn't as quick as my beefwhore. But was pretty hammered (rally school thing). I think if I was going to build a cheap track day car one of these in WRX spec would be fun, since the styling is love hate and they are so affordable. Better built than the model before it too (less cheap).

I don't have the original badges it was as it is when I bought it

I'm keen on capping foglight caps and running hids, where do you get caps from?
Other than that I don't know what the plan is for this as I can drive turbo in a year and don't want to waste much money unless I'm converting this one

Unlike the rx this is something I would like to possibly convert down the track but it's way too early to decide

For mods I would suggest clear indicators, colour coded reflectors, 17s and super lows.

I love bugeyes. If you are going to do a few mods, Throw some STI headlights on. The best mod i ever did to my old wrx. Transforms the car.

Clear side indicators and sti side markers will look mad too.

Why buy a halfcut and convert it when you could just buy an STI?

pretty sure you can buy just the foglight covers off ebay. and a prodrive front lip looks the good on them too. Some people even run a v-lip under that again which can look alright.
