So how many people have been effected so far by the $8B increased SUPER taxes from Labor... and the $3.3B of benefit cuts from the last three years....
?
All I know,Nik, is that Australia didn't 'sink' in the GFC.
That is all.
Free is a joke

That was not my point.Still, why is it upto them to have to fund labor over spending?
When a percentage of our population earn Millions of dollars each year with all the perks associated like corperate credit lines, cars, accommodation & the like, they most certainly can certainly afford to contribute more than average Joe worker and I have no sympathy for them when they are affected by increased taxes and tarrifs that simply will not affect their extravagant lifestyles.
them! Tax them more!

Should be a 1 party political system with me in absolute control... or you if you want to but you have to flip a coin to win the spot.
Anyways, This was of interest to me, and probably only me
carsales.com Ltd (ASX: CRZ) and Banco Santander (Brasil) SA today announce that they have signed a binding term sheet
and entered into exclusive negotiations relating to carsales' acquisition of a 30 per cent interest in WebMotors SA
(www.webmotors.com.br), the number one automotive website in Brazil.
That was not my point.

Tax them more! So they can't do these things that keep the average Joe worker in a job!

I see the excess on a daily basis and yes it's case of sour grapes on my part.
Doesn't help knowing my boss has earnt more money than I do in a week in the time it takes him to catch the lift to his office at the start of his 4hr day.
As I said....
them they can afford it.Because they really can!

If they don't have it to spend, everyone will lose. I'd rather them have it, than the government have it. The 'super rich' have generally made smart long term decisions that have put them in the position that they are in, I can't think of many 'dumb luck' Australian billionaires. Although I know a certain group of people that have dug a hole so big that they now need to start stealing money from people to fill it in a teency weency bit.
Sounds a bit like Nathan Tinkler
