I thought you just purchased the palace of versailles Shaz?
Rent prices for Sydney are in high demand at the moment. It makes sense to buy something else, travel a bit further, and rent out normal place for ridiculous amount of cash.
Plus, I'm really starting to get sick of Sydney to be honest. Might be time for a subtle change.
And career wise, its time for me to manage a bigger or more then 1 branch, and that aint gunna happen where I am at the moment. Cenny Coast though, is a different story.
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

But how will you never leave the northern beaches if you live at the central coast?
A sacrifice I'd have to make I suppose. Short term loss for long term gain

I could enjoy living up there. But it's 3 more hours to the snow!

The wife and I have been considering moving closer to the city actually, since travelling 1.5hours 1 way to work is not fun...
But then again, Sydney is a hole... so maybe Brisbane?

Wow Shaz, that is a bit of a move isn't it?
Yeah its a bit of a change, but financially, long term, it makes sense.

Yeah, thats true... but how about your career... I mean I know there are banks up the coast too, but would it be a step up for you if you managed there?

I know the shit out of that! You will realise very quickly how awesome not living in Sydney is
The one downside for me when I return North will be that it will be like a 12 hour drive or something to get to the snow

Yeah, if I moved to a same sized branch, it would be the same cash, but I'd likely gun for a promotion to a bigger branch, or 2 smaller branches, which would be a career step up for sure.

That sounds good then man... would be a good move for you in that case, like lower living costs and a promotion if possible...

Your rental income from your Sydney place should cover your rent in the coast, and a little more...

This should be something a bit different for everyone. I know what a few people are expecting it to be because of my new chef, but it's definitely not the obvious answer!
What have we done so far? Sheesh. Italian twice, Chinese, Seafood, Danish, and I think the first year I pretty much winged it. Ha! Never though it would be going for its seventh year!
We had Australia's best beer for dinner first year iirc.
Vast quantities of it. Did we have some bootleg too the first year? That wa the first time I met Pizey. Crazy.

I have to level with you Shaz, I watch basically zero of the videos that get posted on here. But good going anyway. First time MDSC'ers are what it's all about!
Actually it's all about 7 time stayers mate
