I hven't been under a Gen2, so I have no idea what it looks like under there, but they were showing me where on the Gen3 B4 that the exhaust takes a sudden sharp turn around the rear suspension on the B4, and they said on a normal Liberty, it wouldn't have that sharp turn, so the exhaust would be easier to fit on a non-B4... either way, I'm taking it down on Saturday morning to see what the dude can do and hopefully it will get fitted once and for all...
Its funny... coz I have the stock dumps going into the stock cat, I'm guessing its stock, then into a 3" pipe to the muffler now... and when I change it to the 2.5", it will be 3" pipe to 2.5" muffler... wonder what that will do...

B4's are the same as libs because....same car.
$95 isn't too much to pay...but beware of the BS!!!

Thanks man, I didn't know the HiTech was custom... all good... getting it chopped and changed over to my B4, so hopefully they don't increase the price on me on the day... LOL!

Nah Zac. The 3" you have on your car is custom made. It's been made by an exhaust shop and the rear flange that connects to the rear muffler and pipe are probably/more than likely, not in the exact same position as a stantard exhaust. The high tech may be custom also but seriously.... get them to chop off the cannon and weld on the new muffler to your pipe. Really not that

Pretty happy with it mechanically. All ready for it's tune Saturday evening.
Got it back from paint today, Looks mad. Still a few little things to do on the weekend and next week. It will be ready for HVC though

Yeah thats what I thought, which is why I didn't know why the first guy I went to said it couldn't be done, but after I told him to chop off the cannon and the inlet pipe on the HiTech and weld that on, then he said it could be done. I guess they want to make it sound harder so they change more for labour...

I was ing peaking out that they might notice coilovers, CAI, BOV, different engine numbers or even the fact that it's now a 2L twin turbo & not a 2.5 N/A.
