I got bored today...and with all these cool parts staring me in the face there was nothing to do but install some shite
Figured while the cars the right way around id start on the rear end and the r180 swap
Was just gonna pull the r160 out...but had more time to kill so i set my sights on atleast getting the r180 bolted in ready for tomorrow...also pulled the studs out of the diff and put some hi tensile bolts in their place to make future diff removal tonnes easier
So thats where i got to...had to swap the pinion flanges over...and OMG the r160 flange was stuck on good and proper lol
Took a bearing puller and waaaaayyyy too much force to get it off lol
But the r160 flange is now on the r180 and the diff is bolted into the car ready to start swapping the hubs over tomorrow after refurbing the handbrake setup with the new project mu shoes
All im hoping is that the diffback doesnt hit the diff hahaha...i got the grinder onto the corner of the diff to give it a bit of room...so fingers crossed it clears!!
Pics tomorrow after install

Project mu handbrake shoes are in..just need to adjust all the shoes 2moro as i have no handbrake atm lol
Exhaust clears...just!...which im cheering about as i didnt wanna cut up the powdercoated pipes :/
Wheels are roughly aligned by eye and fill the guards nicely with 20+ mm of extra track!
This thurs and fri i will fit up all the front bits and send her away for a full alignment next weekend if i can get in
Big day was big!!
