Good afternoon all. How are we all doing? I'm so fucking tired after today's work. Did the formwork for quite a lengthy footpath we are pouring tomorrow at 7:30 AM, however I was sweating like a mofo. Oh the humidity!

When there was the big fire in Lane Cove National Park last year, we had Elvis land near our house. It's so big!

Two boys, aged 11 and 14, have been labelled stupid and reckless after being charged with deliberately lighting fires in NSW.

The 11-year-old was charged on Monday over fires started near Newcastle on October 13 which destroyed sheds and burnt more than 5000 hectares of bushland in Heatherbrae, Williamtown, Campvale, Tomago and Medowie.

The 14-year-old was also charged with starting a fire on Sunday at Rutherford, where about 200 square metres of vegetation, more than 20 trees and a section of a tennis club's fencing were burned.

Both are terrible, but I have to smirk at the massive difference in damage. Second dude basically just turned on a kitchen stove compared to the 11 year old.

 

Also, that Elvis/Hercules whatever type thingy or one like it pulled water out of our dam in those last fires. Only once, but it was amazing, I was standing on the bridge at the waterfall when it came. Seriously impressive, and that's not really my kind of thing to be excited aboooot.
