Hi guys,

 

Just a question regarding roof rack fairings or deflectors.

 

I currently own a pair of the oem subaru roof racks for a subaru impreza. I've been wanting to grab a fairing just for visual looks.

As these oem roof racks are oval shaped, Would the bracket or clips of a Thule roof rack fairing be compatible with these?

 

If you need me to post up any photos please don't hesitate to ask.

Ur racks would be similar to mine... The Thule brackets are different but you can fit them with a bit of modding.

 

Its pretty simple actually...

The guys at Thule advised doing this...

Cut where the line is



remove the end caps on the racks flip the square head bolts and slide them in the rails, put the mounting brackets back on then screw the knob back on



end result is this...



 

 

If you dont want  the chuncky knobs you can use wingnuts instead
