I think I'm going to use some tax dorras to give my motor some badly needed repairs.
I have quite a few oil leaks, rocker covers, somewhere behind the timing cover, sump gasket e.t.c. as well as a timing belt needing changing will do the water pump. e.t.c.
What im thinking is, is it worth doing all this on an engine thats probably got over 200k on it?
My next service is going to attract a high bill as I'm getting ALL of my mechanical issues resolved. Gonna hit the bank quite hard, but it's worth it and I've got a little under 150,000 km on the clock. I would do it man.
Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

How long is a piece of string?
Stethoscope on the block to listen for knocks, Dry and wet compression tests, Leak down test and the oil cap test are things that will help determine if it's a winner.
If I was you, I would buy a low km/healthy long block, fresh seals, belts, gaskets, hoses galore, rip out the old bugger, Swap it all over, Throw it in, Enjoy for another 4059954549545km's.
