Good winter gloves will be better investment than heated grips. They are warm as hell and windproof and waterproof.

If you get the longer style gloves (ie cover further up your wrist like the ones i linked above) it will stop airflow going up your sleeve too.

Yo aDam, do you have a 'go to' crepe recipe?

 

I find it's one of those annoying 'simple' joints that has so many tiny differences between recipes. I like mine crispy at the edge, but not 'raw' in the middle.

This is what I use currently;

 

Ingredients

1.5 cups or 220 g sifted all purpose flour

1 cup or 250 ml whole milk

1 cup or 250 ml water

2 large eggs

1 tsp salt

1 tsp sugar

I'm not a fan of heated grips Adam, but I would never ride as much as you do... or in any weather.. LOL!

 

I'd only ride if the weather was perfect for riding, and if I had the time... haha... why am I getting a bike again?

Nuns, nuns everywhere! Every time I have been out today there have been groups of about 20 nuns... No idea if they are the same ones or not because they are all older ladies wearing sheets.

Crepes

 

2 cups plain flour

3 eggs

1/4 teaspoon of salt

Enough milk to make a good, thin pouring consistency.

 

It's one of those recipes where exact measurements aren't really known (i.e. milk).

 

Fry in butter.
