Last night was the biggest trip out. Some crew from bizzack in the dizzay are in daylight again, so they came down to see me, I said I'd meet them somewhere else, not at my home/work. They weren't there when I got there, I stayed an hour, still no sign/contact.
Went home, kind of relieved, ate some dinner and watched the footy, then got a message saying "on my way needed petrol"
Ace. Don't really want them around my house/work for obvious reasons at the moment, it would be a breach of condition for us to be at one a nother's houses.
I replied "are you alone"
Got no reply to that. So I was waiting down at work in my driveway, acting tough as I do, when a car starts rolling down the driveway - now, knowing we had people in the accommodation I wasn't exactly standing there looking like an idiot, but then the car just stopped half way down the drive way and turned on the high beams. Then revved up and sped towards me. I was like, hilarious, this will be them - so I ran to the car and opened it and cocked back ready to swing.
Realising at the right time that this dude was a definite darker shade of brown, also in a hire car, and seeming very worried about what was about to happen.
Then he turned his face towards me, and it was literally, I shit you not, one of the older dudes from back in the day who dropped off before me and moved to Melbourne. His GPS had gotten him lost on the way to the Surf Pro concert where he had work. What the . Complete coincidence. He is an immigration lawyer now.
Ten minutes later the person I was expecting rocked up, with a smackhead girl in tow, in a Commodore on 20" chromies.
He just got out and all he could talk about was how shit everything is and just kept rattling off how many people are dead or in jail and for how long.
Trip out.
We were all in the same place not that long ago.
One is a lawyer, one just can't seem to get it right.
All I could think was, there's only one decision that made these two lives so very, very different.
Stay safe yo!
