Hey guys, here is a question for ya. More of an ethical question. 

 

If there is 4 people moving into a house, and 1 of them doesn't like it because it doesn't have a garage, is it wrong to block everyone else based on the needs of 1?

 

My opinion, is that I think everyone needs to be happy with it, but my morals suggest that I should perhaps just take the hit for the benefit of the greater good?

For me it's important and I would selfishly cockblock everyone involved.

Yeah it isn't easy, does the rule of majority apply? Is there an alternative space that could be used as a garage?

 

A man does need a garage, or, carport, or a large shed.

Nothing mentioned about a universal one either, I can check on the computer at work but you won't get it until next week sometime.

Haha, this was 200mm strips lengthways so the strip kind of flapped around and made a twanging noise at the same time haha

Also depends on if the other people are going to be there short term or long term. It should be left to the person/people staying there the longest to have the final say

Yeah, that is my next though. I suppose if I was to cave, I could use it as an excuse to get a pretty mint shed.

I always put myself in others shoes, so I'd give into the others.

It would piss me off if someone wanted to live in the attic but there was no attic so all four of us would have to keep lookin even though the house ticked all the boxes for everyone else.

Well if you don't need one as much as you want one, then yeah, I'd cave, and say you need a place of your own too, so bring up the shed topic as a compromise
