Sup Dam.
Had young Cam over the other night. We had a really good chat about the TT meet and planned out a presentation.
It's going to be really good and helpful for all attending.
There's some great information in that guys head.
Any chance of some of this stuff becoming available on the interwebs for those of us who aren't attending?
@poite
If you put it on your junk, your junk will begin lactating..
@alafdam
I know, it's sad

Heres a question for you lot. Has anyone ever thought about digital converting their clusters? I was thinking of making a light array like the Honda S2K setup to light up the back face of your speedo. So instead of the needle going up you will get a line of light going up to the 20km mark.
I've started to collect some clusters and with this lot that I have many many stupid "willc special" ideas are fogging up my brain ahahahaha

I hope so mate.
The presentation at the start of the meet would be most beneficial for TT owners and I think if we could video it we will.
I will basically locate & list all of the TT components and I'll give a quick description of what role they play in the set up. Maintenance tips etc.
Moving on from that, I'll locate & list all engine sensors and Cam will give a explanation on their workings and tips etc.
We're going to keep it short and sweet but there is a lot of info to mention.
As for the rest of the day, I'm pretty much going to be head down and arse up. Won't be able to explain every detail about the Vac refurb whilst I'm doing it.
It would simply take too long. Also, I'd prefer not to be thinking of what I look like on camera whilst doing it. lol.

I've wondered how hard it would be to get a HUD for the B4. Possible even?

You'll look like a Boss while playing with those TTs

Thanks mate, looks interesting. I'd rather it projected on the windscreen itself, than on an actual 3rd party display, but will look into it more for fun when I have time

That will be quite hard I guess. You would want to be finding something like a very small projector with focus and distance control, then lace a small area of your windscreen with a semi transparent film, I'm guessing some light tint will do. Then use a obd 2 connected to a andriod device or small car pc and run something like torque app projected through the projector. Focus it onto that film square and it should show your rpm and speed.
That would be my idea of how to get something like that off the floor. I'm betting someone in the community will have a better idea or suggestions on improvements to the concept.

You can get one that shows the speed your doing but that's all. Saw it at autobahn the other day.
