Yes, if you have the right tool for the job, and provided the crack is only on the surface and not all the way through the, in which case you'd have to replace it, but then just get a whole new assembly and just be done with it
Hardest part when I did mine was trying to get the casing off the tap. That thing was so tight on the basin and was sealed up like crazy, had to buy some adjustable wrench tool with teeth on it just to get the casing off.

Dude, it was bunnings, so I had to find the tool myself, there are always almost nobody to help me at the local bunnings, always too busy
(PS: I already had the dust mask and gloves)

On a random note. I was just reading and discussing random law sh@t apparently if a neighbour parks his car on your properly eg. the side of your driveway not obstructing your vehicle from moving out, then there's not alot you can do. The only thing you can do to prevent it is to always have a gate that is locked.
You could take him to civil court and have him remove it at your own cost.
