It seems like that's the way to go. I assume the rates aren't all that bad for part-time teaching either, right? Every Tom, Dick and Harry seems to be doing some form of high school teaching lately as well. Either that, or child care.

 

 

Not sure about secondary teaching, I'm not qualified for that. Here in Vic you need a Bachelor of Education, I only have a Dip VET and a Dip TAA.

Besides, I teach vocational subjects and have no desire to teach maths, english etc.  

 

 

IIRC the rate is around $65p/h but the maximum hours are capped at each institute.

Do you think $500 is too steep for those SpecB rims?

Ha ha, same. Although my sister is 10 now so doesn't really need too much attention.

 

Considering I got mine for $700 with almost new Federal Formoza FD2's on them, I don't think I would at that price. Especially if they had the gutter rash. It'd cost a few hundred to get them repaired. Are you needing a new set? I'm sure the seller is open to a bit of negotiation.

I bought another set for mine as the original ones were damaged by some sort chemical applied by the previous owner.

The cost of repainting them was crazy due to the shadow chrome paint so I picked up another set, minus tyres, in really good nick for $350.

Ended up selling the damaged ones so the whole exercise cost fork all.

On eBay looking at mig welders.......

Ha ha, well that's exactly what I did. Bought mine for $700, and sold my old rims for a few hundred. I can't remember exactly how much, but I do remember that new rims and tyres only set me back about $400 or so.

 

I don't, but may be you do...? Who do we call for in times like this?

The only one with the bad scrape is in the photo, so if it really worried someone they'd only need to get one fixed

Oh I wasn't doubting that at all man. I was merely comparing it to the deal I got which was extremely good and hard to come by. If you don't find a seller, drop your price. It's better to start with a higher price to give you some room to move in case you don't get that quick sale. Is SubyClub the only place you have them advertised?

At the moment yea, when I actually get my wheels if I don't have a buyer I'll just chuck em on Gumtree too

Have a go at selling them on club.liberty, as well as the SubyClub, club.liberty and Subaru Liberty GT Facebook pages. You're bound to get a buyer as these, along with my SpecB rims, are favourites between the Liberty owners.

 

Bloody hell I hate Gumtree. Full of hectic bros that ALWAYS lowball. When you finally get the sale though it's a good feeling, ha ha.

I've never liked gumtree and tbh I dont think I've ever sold anything there... like cars and stuff always go through carsales, the lancer I just sold, went through all the effort to putting up a mad carsales ad, paying the dollars etc and it ended up selling off a Facebook post anyway!
Oh well, as long as my stuff sells somewhere then I'm happy

That's it man. I've only ever used Gumtree once or twice, everything else is either sold privately, on the forum or via Facebook.
