Another interesting job I've found; Trainee Titling Officer for Land & Property Information (Title and Registration Services). The purpose of the position is to perform a range of tasks related to land titling, including searching and interpreting records to support Land and Property Information's examination and registry function.
There is a two year course I will have to do and the starting salary is pretty awesome for an entry level position.
Does anyone have any knowledge about this government department/agency?
It's gay and you'll want to kill yourself Gaz.
Dept of Titles is horseshit, you'll just do searches of titles for when people are buying/selling property or developing, I used to go there and get searches done when I did conveyancing back in the day. You will buy a shotgun in week 1, and by week 3 said shotgun will splatter brains all over the shop. Never saw a happy person there ever.
Fork....That.....Shit.....

Interesting.
How do they come up with a really good trainee wage then? A job that perhaps not many people want?
That's not interesting
Why are you so committed to a union government job?
Talking to me?
It is similar to what I'm doing when in the office at Council. I find it pretty interesting as I'm drafting as well as obtaining deposited and strata plans, etc. I thought it could be sort of in that area minus the surveying aspect (which I've now got a thorough introduction to).
I don't know. I must admit that I do browse a lot of the government websites for positions, but I've only ever discussed government positions as they are the only ones I have been able to apply for. So far I have found that private enterprises usually offer positions to graduates for the most part, and trainee and/or entry level positions are hard to come by and are advertised very few times (sometimes only once) per year.
Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Gaz, approach every job add with the mentality that the selection criteria is a wishlist, and then apply, normally the position is filled by someone who didn't have all the things advertised, but they were able to bullshit their way in.
Or just join the FFL.

That's a good way to think of it, but even if I was to do that, I wouldn't get through 99% of job applications. I haven't got any university degrees or the like. And any experience they're after is not what I have done.

I choose jobs that are entry level (or that I am eligible to apply for) and apply. Salary doesn't really have anything to do with it. It just so happens that this position is offering a high salary for a trainee position.
