MDSC#7 2013
Friday September 20^th – Sunday 22^nd 2013

• Cost: $260.00 – Includes accommodation, fun activities, drinks (If you are a severely heavy or fussy drinker please take that into consideration and work with me) two dinners, two breakfasts, and a shared lunch on Saturday – large eaters may need to get themselves something extra, but it hasn’t been an issue in the past.

I will be waving my appearance fee for this event. 

FRIDAY

• Friday: Arrival is at your leisure throughout the day.
• Friday tasting: 6:00pm; This will be a brief insight into the products that we make at The Grove, hosted by me it should ensure everyone is hungry by the time food rolls out. There is a non-alcoholic option (water) if anyone so desires.
• Friday Food: 6:30pm until all food is eaten. Casual canapé style walk around evening.

If you are not able to leave Perth until later, PLEASE let me know so I can fix a plate of food and set it aside for you.

There is a vegetarian option (water) if anyone so desires.

SATURDAY

• Saturday: Traditionally an early start, I’m being a bit softer this year. Looking around more of a 10am head off, after breakfast. Breakfast is best off cooked at each of the chalets, otherwise it takes for ever to cook all the BACON. Breakfast will be BBQ cooked breakfast, fresh baked bread/treats, eggs, ‘n all that will be provided.
• Saturday: 10:00am: Make like babies and head out.
• Saturday Lunch: At a local watering hole.
• Saturday Afternoon: Weather dependent. A bit of the weekend is weather dependent so cross those fingers and toes.
• Saturday dinner: 6:30pm; Looking for people to be around at the restaurant for 6:30, sit down shortly after. Saturday night is a bit more formal, enclosed shoes (except Shaz) are expected.
• We will also announce winners/losers of the weekend.
• Saturday night is traditionally a bit of a ‘kick on’ affair, no one is expected to stay longer, or drink more than they feel like. It has been quite tame in recent years, and I don’t think that’s been a bad thing at all.

SUNDAY

• Sunday morning: Church
• Sunday EARLY MORNING (6am): We will be laying down an MDSC brew, so anyone interested in the brewing process is welcome to come along and be a part of a brew. This year we should definitely be able to bottle and send beers to everyone once they are ready.
• Sunday breakfast: Still not 100% sure here, probably do it in the cafe, depending on how seedy people are looking/feeling they might prefer to hit up the bakery.
• Sunday departure: At your leisure. Cleaning will not be done until the Monday, so no hurry. For those coming interstate this is a good opportunity to hit up some of the local attractions, which I’m more than happy to point out, come with, etc.
