They're all MKV files. Obviously the iMac doesn't recognise it but I tested the sample before downloading the complete season and it worked perfect, in awesome quality too. Viking's is a Blu-ray rip and Arrow is all in 1080p.

They're all MKV files.
Most of the stuff I download is in that format.
It's cool because you have have subtitles in an mkv without needing a separate file for it. Plus chapters as well.

Most TV's these days will read those formats, but not necessarily the codec that the show has been ripped to.
