This Morning i was Involved in a crash. I was turning right and the second car behind me was goin to fast to stop in the wet, so she over took the car behind me and went onto the oncoming lane and Bang! Hit me on the drivers side as i was turning and my car spun onto the curb.

Panel damage on door, rear wheel arch. Beam is bent in, wheel probably bent.
I bought this car for 2700 early this year and now has 259xxx k's on it.

Writeoff?
Would be easy getting it fixed or take the money and buy something new?

Shame really as i had just fixed and slaved over the heater core!

My 1991 Liberty Gx has a steering issue. When I turn right then turn back to straighten up, the steering wheel is alligned towards the right. But when I turn left then turn back to straighten up, the steering wheel is perfectly central again.

The car has done around 254+ K's. Worn out shaft/column or something?
Hope its not a safety issue.
If so how much would this set me back to get fixed?

Bought a fog light harness kit with all the nessery wires etc, however the wires that connect to the lights are to short. I need to ad more length.

Is it possible to join 15amp wire(what i already have found in the shed.) to the 10amp wire to the harness?
Or should i just buy 10 amp wire?

Hey dudes, its been a ugly day here in Melbourne so while the rain has stoped i quickly took a few flicks. Picked her up last month for $2700. Super clean engine which got me smiling. Pretty happy with it so far as its my first car so I cant complain. 254 od k's on the dial, hoping theres still at least 200 od ks left. Heard these are quite the workhourses & good value!

A few minor exterior repairs needed.
The main one is the bonnet. Lots of paint stripping. Im assuming this wouldn't be difficult to do myself with the right prep work. Also abit on the roof.
There is a minor rust on the edge of the skirt. Basic diy sand and fill.
Touch up paint here and there.
All up this car is just super clean. I'm liking the 15" wheels on it however i am considering getting 16" wrx wheels at some point to boost up the coolness. Maybe a gunmetal colour to contrast the bermuda blue?

Also does anyone know anything about squeaky brakes during low speed braking? Its happening only on the front right side. I've checked the pads and still have plenty of wear in them. I've sprayed them a few times during the week with this brake cleaner product but it didnt work. Maybe needs different branded pads. It is annoying. If anyone could help, cheers.....


Anyway thats the shizz so far. I'll post up my DIY mods soon.
Might install some fog lights in next week/ weather permitting.
