my reasons are not cosmetic, this car will be my toy for track days and drags and the like, I'd rather use a ratchet shifter for drags to prevent missing a gear in the heat of the moment :) and if i'm having a bit of a sprint up a hill i use a auto like a manual to hold a gear thru a corner instead of the auto trying to think what to do. not really interested in a manual conversion at this time, maybe later down the track when i add more neddies to the old girl :) ..... or blow the gbox ........

getting back to my original question..... when you converted yours was it a cable or link setup? just trying to source a compatible shifter. I've found a universal B&M locally which has detent and ratchet modes ..... if it's a cable setup i can make this fit and still look pretty good.
