Rebuilding struts??

Hi all, I need to renew my rear struts on my version 6 sti. I heard that you can rebuild sti struts? Can someone confirm this? Or does someone know of a place that rebuilds struts that are any good? Or any other comments on it would be nice? Convince me to go coilovers is also fine

Hey does anyone know which model of wrx or sti comes with the VF34 as standard?? I need to get a vin number to order parts but even just the model will at least get me in the right direction. Thanks!
