Hi guys, great site. Great cars and great discussions!
Ok now my lower control arm bushes need replacement. ...im gonna do the ball joints at the same time.
Now the ball joints have a bit more life in them but less than 6 months motoring, so the question is...
The clunking and slight knocks are not caused by my ball joints , can or do the bushes on the LCA make those noises?
Usually with control arm issues in other cars you lose tracking in steering and you get wander, like an off alignment.
So essentially, is the clunking probs caused by the bushes?
Got 130k on the clock. No history of bush or ball joint replacement.
Suggestions?
