Hi guys. I recently acquired a MY07 Lib 3.0R spec B 6sp. It goes great, looks great, but there are a few things I need to get sorted out before I'm comfortable with it if you know what I mean.
I noticed a bit of a chunk out of the sidewall of one of my tyres, not sure when it happened, but most likely needs a replacement...
DO I NEED TO REPLACE ALL MY FREAKIN' TYRES NOW?
How true is this rumour? I spoke to my mechanic, and he said not with the new subarus, don't worry about it. I rang Subaru, they said...yeah, there's a chance you'll stuff your gearbox (?) by running uneven treaded tyres...but they weren't that convincing.
Sounds like no one is really sure.....
But if it's true, what a pain in the A$%@!!
Thoughts...?

I've put a deposit down on a Liberty 3.0R in NSW. I plan to return later this week to finalise payment and then drive the car back to VIC.
What do I need to present to VicRoads, is it JUST a RWC and a letter from seller saying that I am now the owner of the vehicle? Is there anything else?

GT Spec B vs 3.0R Spec B

Ok, some of you might know that I missed out on a '07 3.0R Spec B wagon today.
So, dismayed, I jumped back onto carsales.com.au and starting hunting again.
And a little fairy whispered in my ear and said "Why not just go for the GT?" and I said, "It's a little bit more expensive than the 3.0" and it said, "but not that much, and at the end of the day what's a few thousand matter in the grand scheme of things" and I said, "Little fairy, maybe you are right".
So I took another puff on my crack pipe, sat back and considered....GT...3.0R.....GT.....3.0R.....
