Fair enough. love the EJ22, it's a fun little engine. Suspension and brakes are better upgrades anyway, the EJ22 keeps me happy. I was thinking about saving my money and picking up a GEN3 Liberty when I'm off my P's anyway.

Got ages before then, why worry about what car you might want in 3years. RS brakes should be good, ash (NA_ej22) recons he noticed a good difference in them. Been thinking about them myself, but i think i'll hold out for some b4/GTB 294mm 2pots

Yeah, some RS brakes with some slotted rotors sounds nice. Then some shocks/low king springs. Drove my mum's work friends RS around the block today, it had coilovers and it was way to bumpy. such a hot car, a gen3 doesn't look as nice anymore lol

Perma-Ban for the next person who argues that the EJ25 N/A Conversion is worth it I don't understand people's obsession with giving themselves teh Aidz. FFS who in their right mind would want to pay shitloads to replace a 2.2L for a 2.5L, both being aspirated and not vastly different in power...its crazy However it is after all someones cash to blow on whatever they like.. its people like that who keep wreckers /mechanics grinning as they can make a profit out of some poor clueless moronic bastard doing a ridiculous engine conversion that they will not be happy with and want to change to a turbo version later anyway.

to take the thread back to topic my first car was actualy a 1990 gx liberty wagon that had a ej25 engine conversion.. (was done by owner befor me)recipts said he had paid $5k for it!!!!!! pick her up for $1500 then broke clutch,cv joint x4,engine mounts,gearbox radiator,rear diff and a (i think) a tailshaft.. fixed it all for $2000 and sold for $4700 and i still see it driving round!!!!
