What kind of exhaust should I be looking at? I want one that isn't super duper loud and won't attract too much attention but I also want that nice note that the boxers put out. I can already hear the note with the standard exhaust but just a hint louder and it'd be perfect.
Do you still put UEL headers on these things or that's more of an N/A thing?

Think they already have UELs?

Sound differs with the quality. I love my Hi-Tech. Nice and quiet on idle and putting around but roars when you plant it.

Great! :)
My first turbo car and I'm loving it. I'm used to raw N/A power but I love the feel of a turbo and they way the Suby delivers the power is great!

So does anyone have any suggestions as to the best way to get some kind of "blue tooth" or wireless setup for my phone with the McIntosh sound system? It has AUX but would be nice if it was wireless.

Cheers

Tons of info over at .asn.

In summary bluetooth for the phone is a headache with the McIntoss, where the lesser Clarion its easy.

Best might be a bluetooth unit that uses the aux plug. Like this....

I have the wired version. Not bad, just need to hit AUX when the phone rings.

Well she goes in for her 200k major service on Monday - although:

Couple of questions:

- I want to go a bit lower - I've always had coil overs. Can anyone recommend some good value coil overs that don't break the bank - sub $700 hopefully?

- Rims. I want a set like this: http://www.ebay.com....hkAAOSw~otWezjg
Does anyone have a set for sale or seen any? How much can I expect to pay?

- Final recommendations for an exhaust? Something to bring the beautiful boxer burble into play - that also won't break the bank. I'll get a tune after I get the exhaust done.

Cheers

Nick

If you change your mind on coilovers, I've got my old setup of Bilstein struts and RS-R springs for sale. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I got my rims for a steal actually. There was someone in Perth selling them on the club.liberty Facebook group which I snapped up. Had them picked up by Alex (ams), sent to Mark (CRUISN) for a refurb and respray and then had Mark send them up to me. I'll have to dig through and see how much I paid for them initially as well as all the work but it worked out way cheaper than what people are selling them straight off the bat. They're a rim that do hold their value unfortunately.

I went down the stainless steel route and bought TCP Auto quad mufflers and Xforce centre and Y-pipe. I do have an EZ30R though so noise and prices will vary. If you do find the ones you're after hit up Best Mufflers in Carlton. Chris is a good bloke and will definitely help you out.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

You might find some used BC coilovers for $700 or you can get some used off yahoo jp and risk it since you can't inspect in person. If you want anything decent new you're looking at $1500ish and up for MCA or Tein, $2k for shockworx etc...

STI Enkeis go for $1200-1800ish depending on condition and tyres from what I've seen. Or you can get rota gravel copies for ~1000 new

For budget exhausts exforce seem to be the go with some springing for a better quality dump for peace of mind but I'll let other gen4 people chime on on this one.

For a cheaper alternative exhaust, some people have gone with the EMPIRE Performance catback and seem happy with it. At around $550 it leaves plenty in the wallet for a decent dump pipe
