Long motor is now all assembled. Cant wait to fire it up. Be a while away yet though as we are now looking at seam welding the engine bay and respraying it.

Ok so on Friday night with the help of Preston we pulled the dummy motor out of the engine bay ready for the new one to go in. However once we removed the engine Preston noticed that the bell housing was broken. He then spent the next couple of hours removing my 6 speed for me so it can be repaired, painted and put back in the car so we can finally get a proper engine back into the car. This part of the gearbox was repaired once before and lasted a couple of years. Hopefully we can get a bit more out of it this time round.
Yesterday I did a massive drive from the Central Coast down to Oakville in Sydney to pick up my engine from Deshele Performance before driving to Newcastle to drop it off at Full Noise to start getting it ready to go back into the car. Then drove back to the Central Coast. I was very glad to get home and out of the car haha. (that is a mock up inlet manifold the one ill be using is off being shaved and ready to go to the powder coaters)

Yesterday I ordered a new Jim Berry heavy duty single plate button clutch kit and some IAG Performance AVCS sensor delete plugs. Things are slowly moving forward with the build.

This weekend with the help of Preston we got the engine and gearbox back in the car and I pushed her outside to give her a much needed bath. Tomorrow I am dropping the inlet manifold and turbo housing off to be powder coated.
