Lmao.

I've had one job that let me be 15 minutes from home. Though to be fair. My travel time is 30 mins and my average speed would probably be over 100km/h :) I stop twice at the most :P

Geez, you have a limit Gaz.

Takes me an hour and 3 min to get to townhall where I worked before, and now it takes me an hour and 20 to get to St Leonards, 90min door to door each way.

I do wish I lived closer to work though. But prices

You rent or own Zac? Honestly I thought I would never buy in Sydney, ever, and just rent in city till I move states, but if I stayed here I'd swallow the bitter pill and buy within 10km of city. Useless buying further out considering wife and me will always work close to City/Eastern suburbs or North Sydney.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

I own, Nik. Bought the house 4 years ago now. It is 60km from my office, which is 90min of travel for me, but it is 1 straight train ride, so I just watch movies or something on the train.

I have thought about renting out the house and renting somewhere in the inner west and north shore, Megan would be cool with that too, but hard to find a decent place that is on the same level as our house out west. Always worked in the city and probably always will, because thats where the jobs are at for me.

Still, been thinking of moving to Brisbane as well, for a better life there.

I'm about 3times as far Shaz, same travel time.

Same, Brisbane, Adelaide or Canberra for me, depends which city offers best job and best life, Brisbane is the front runner at the moment. Hope to move in next 6-12months.

Good to know man,

I've been considering Brisbane for a while, over a year now, looked at houses to buy around there as well, investment first, and then to live in.

Daughter is turning 4 this year, so still a good time to move there, before she starts school. But my wife has an injury, so moving state might be a little hard for her right now, but she will get better in time.

She also prefers the warmer weather, which is why Brisbane is up there, as well as a better work/life balance

Still some nice houses 15km from CBD that are in $500,000 range in Brisbane. Northern Suburbs are your best bet.

This is true. Just a matter of finding a nice suburb for me now, and then will look for houses in there. I would be happy having a 30-40minute commute to work.
