Provar:
has anybody made a twin rear sway bar set up? ie have you used two standard sway bars in the rear with a slightly custom linkage instead of upgrading to a whiteline or similar?

im on holidays with nothing better to do!

any words of advice much appreciated

EDIT: if you tell me its a dumb idea, it'll probably just encourage me!

These people seem to forget its not all in the diameter of the bar. 22mm Mild steel is stiffer than a 22mm alloy bar. Cut a Standard bar in half, then cut a 22mm WL bar in half and look at the difference.

Who cares? You don't even know the guy and you're getting your knickers in a bunch about what he's doing with his swaybar Paul. At least he's out tinkering with his car!

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

Yeah. I mod my cars too. I just don't use chicken wire and tech screws to hold shit together. (I Hear MRT do wonders with those materials though) I've got no problem with a "Twin swaybar" setup perse. But how the f*ck is the bloke going to succesfully manage it? I've been under one of these cars more times than I care to remember. I seriously can't understand how you would make it work. Thus the LOL. But if bodgy dangerous fiddling with the suspension components road going cars is the go these days, Power to you all.

Put them side by side, instead of one on top of the other, and it could fit. And even if both swaybars snap and fall off the handling will still be better than a commodo.... oh. Sorry :D

LOL, FAIL. GX is lighter. But I don't think it handles too much better. Once you get used to the extra weight, my commodore goes alright. They feel alot sturdier on the road anyway. My main problem with it, is how the hell do you fasten it? Back to my chicken wire theory.

So I went Christmas shopping tonight and ended up buy the PS3 Rock Band kit. Thought it would be fun for when friends come over to get pissed e.t.c. After unpacking it all, I find out that it doesn't include the game! Bastards!!! What is the point in selling the gear you need to play it without supplying the game in the big arsed box it came in? It's like buying a car with no wheels and keys!!
