Rhys, I'd go with the cheap B4 idea if you want a Tahrb0, if you swap it all over, you sell the RX as "RX with all B4 options, a great sport oriented cruiser while still being economical" Conversions are costly, and as much as you might be attached to a car, like any relationship, financial issues can mean the end of that love. And with B4's soooo cheap these days, and if you rather Libs over Prez's, then yeah go for it. I have mate looking for an RX, I referred him to your ad, and he's thinking over it, the B4ness will add to his interest and give him time to raise the missing $2k to make it $15-16k, but I know there'd be a lot of interest for your car if you wen tthe path you're thinking. And my Rant for the Rant Thread? Shithouse Brisbane Nightlife, not even worth going out for. Nick

If thy tint is dark and thy wheels are black thou car be declared b11tchin'

So you can run it on 6psi with an rx fuel pump? :P

hey man, cheers for the word to your mate... there will be a price drop when the teins/rims are swapped over for bbs rims and billies.

I'd still get the b4 tuned asap most likely, with single turbo conversion planned. and then . holy grail. 2.5 litre bottom end.

.. i just wanted to say ... FKN NSW ROADS! With the giant handout the gov is giving out ... why can't they invest some dough for the roads... i was driving along the other day and there was a pot hold or bump in the road that i didn't notice till it was too late. .. i'm blind at night.. anyhow i hit this giant bump and it felt like the car hit a wall. (going 50km/h) stopped got our .. check if everything was alrite checked the rims no cracks or anything all good (but pissed off). Last night driving i hear this pop noise which alerted me. Everything felt normal no vibe or anything anywhere all sounds good all guages good everything in check so i didn't think much of it. This morning checking the car i noticed... 1 STUD MISSING 1 of the studs from passenger side rear wheel COMPLETELY SNAPPED OFF ... T_T needless to say im pissed off

Totally agree about the Sydney roads - theyre as f*cked as a ho. When I went 2 Perth, their roads and public transport was so much better managed and most definately more thoughtout/planned then sydney ever was. I guess they saw the problems syd had and worked from there. More $ should be put in2 fixing it up, espesh Parra rd - but thats bc they want u 2 use the toll way :(

Why spend money on a tune? You'll probably spend 50% of the cost of a single conversion just to get a retune (unless you pay Kosti in beers). Just save your dollars and do the conversion instead. If the standard motor has lasted this long without another month or two won't kill it.

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

Nah more like 1/5 the cost man, and 0% effort needed. Unlike the single conversion. The twins would probably keep him happy for a while.

so, i'm looking for insurance for my car now that it's got the H6 in it... seems to me that my options are fairly limited and i'll probably be going with "just car"... but they won't insure my car with unrepaired damage... including damaged paint... so now i've got to get my paint repaired (on top of everything else) if i want to be able to insure my car... i think Jovan was right... i'll never be actually driving this car... lol
