2008 - Nothing happened that year. Absolutely nothing. I got my green P's and I had enough photos of the car from the year before, so didn't need to take anymore :P

2009 - Lots of mods this year...and lots of pics of them throughout this thread!

I've owned it since December of 2006 when I was still on my Learners licence. Its been my trustworthy daily drive ever since. Hasn't missed a beat! As you can see, I haven't bothered spending money on this motor apart from regular servicing. I figured, its just not worth it.

I plan on keeping this car for a long time still :) Unless/until I'm off my P-plates and find a nice Legacy to buy.

Thanks, and yeh, converting it is something I've been thinking about recently. I'm off my P's next January and I can either buy a Legacy or convert this one. If I choose to convert it - single or twin?? The big debate. I'm after drive ability so yeh, just weighing up the options. Time is on my side. Money isn't, haha.

single. more power, less effort, better driveability. there is no arguement in it.

Damn you and your top of the range, leathery, straight body, 2.5 litre goodness! Interested to see this new front bar. Also reckon the B4 wheels will look perfect as well. I didnt think you were going to sell her because of your emotional attatchment :P. But i guess a Legacy is a Legacy.

Well yeh, thats the thing - a Legacy is my car + so much more. So I could *probably* put the emotional stuff to one side and sell mine for one of those....

legacy is just a name dude, its the same car. fair enough its good to have one because of the rarity, but i dont see the big deal with selling yours just to get one? nothing like building your own car up from the beginning, massively satisfying!

I sort of half agree with you and half don't. I mean there are lots of little little differences that make it a complete package.

I get the ant crisis every summer, bastards. Surface spray and a vacuum cleaner in the car and 5 kilos of ant powder from bunnings around the car and nest if you can find it does the trick. Ahhhhhhh genocide....

Looking good apart from the whole sedan thing going on. :D IMO it will cost less to sell yours and buy a Legacy than it will to convert yours.

When is the conversion happening?

I'm off my P's in January. And then I'll be seriously considering it.

As CRUISN said, its probably cheaper to sell mine and buy a Legacy. And I would very much like to do that. But they're rare and then I'd also want one in a condition as good as mine, which will make it very hard for me to find what I want. Thats when the prospect of converting my RX may come into play.....

As I said before - I got time, but not money

Hey guys, I FINALLY put the new rims on! Quite pleased with the result :) Also got new rubber for them. For those of you who don't know - the courier company "lost" one of my rims in transit. Because it was the first time I used a courier company for myself, I didn't take out insurance. What a big mistake that was. My experience was as follows: 1. Used contracter PickUpsOnline to organise a courier to deliver my rims 2. Company TNT declares one rim "lost" after many months of looking 3. Contracter f**kUpsOnline demonstrated, downright offensive customer service. Thats my experience with them. It may be different for other people. I'm just calling it as I saw it.
