And that sucks man....I guess its inevitable some courier companies have problems fulfilling their jobs.

I now use Allied Express. Its easy to get a quote. Its fast. And its the same delivery guy everytime lol. He knows exactly where in the garage to place it without me telling him, haha.

All thanks to that guy^^ ^_^

Haha, we'd of never predicted back in December that it would have taken this long

Thanks so so much for handling this situation the way you did. You certainly didn't have to given you had the money and the rims were out of your hand. Its truly appreciated mate!

:)

Meh, if it was off Ozlib. Don't hold your breath, it will result in brain damage. Then we'll have to send you back.

Ah yes, the oil filters. You can blame OzLib to an extent.....but that member obviously isn't trying very hard to get in contact with you. Tsk tsk....

Thanks mate, yeh they do look pretty good. Probably the only good thing about a gen3 :P

I am so glad the days of cleaning those 16" BBS rims are gone :D Scuffed knuckles FTL :negative:

It is tempting to bite the bullet and do the obligatory extracters + zorst. But I really want to start saving my money so I can either do something to this car or buy a Legacy.

Not interested in lowering it. It bottoms out enough as it is.

You've got a 2.25" exhaust yeh? Hows that go with the auto? As in - does it drone? I've been meaning to ask you to take me for a drive in it to see if its worth the money.

yea good point with the lowering! the RX's are lower anyway!

funny you mention the exhaust! i have 2.25" as you say but last friday i took it in and asked them to put another ressy on it as it did drone heaps. i had 1 res and a muffler. now i have the 2 ressys and it makes a huge difference! under acceleration it gives me the note i want and while cruising its quiet ...well as quiet as you need it to be! haha!

over about 3000rpm the engine noise takes over which is good - the boxer noise is still there with out extractors as we know they are pretty non-existant for teh 2.5 goodness!!

are you coming to the meet at the end of may? we'll have to swap cars at some point and you can see how she rolls! ...i mean how he rolls. sorry brien!!

Hhmm interesting.

Well then maybe 2.25" + 2 resonators is the go...

Mine revs at about 2.8K at 110km/h. Add a zorst to that and the sound better be well contained for it to be reasonably quiet.

Thanks for that wheel cap John-e. Got it just in time :)

Thats basically the same setup as mine; bar mine being 3" TBE. Slight rumble on idle but gives a great note under throttle.

Thanks Matt :) As I said before - its probably the only good part of a gen3, haha.... You installed that STi front lip yet? Mark - Yeh they sound properly decent on a N/A. I think Aaron's got one on his GX and it sounds pretty good. I just can't justify the cost of one ATM.
