2003 legacy b4... servicing gone wrong.. Need Help.

Well problem solved.... he went back over it and realized he forgot to tighten a screw near the turbo that he had loosened... so no more noise.

Your mechanic sounds like he couldn't tell his arse from his face.

Get away from him.

Get a second opinion.

Yeah im letting someone reliable check it tomorrow. But it did stop squealing, i guess where it was loosened it was letting air in the turbo or something.

That is plausible. A while ago the gasket on one of my intercooler pipes was stuffed and it made a squealing noise under boost, but the noise was so much louder when the secondary turbo kicked in.
