They run a 2 barrel Rochester. The 348 got the 4 barrel.

Thought as much, thanks.

Wheel and Hubcaps combination looks a lot better than the current wheels, not that the current ones are that bad, but they do have a hint of LA South Central.

I've never seen Urethane do that before, I guess they are quite old.

I'm starting to second guess the quality of urethane after seeing them fail so much in the museum collection.

Wow.

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.

Loving it, though with those hubcaps and whitewalls, could I suggest period mods? They had airbags and such back in the day, so you can still get it low and awesome, but save the big chrome rims and crazy styling for the commodore crowd, these things stand out even when people think they're stock.

Had a long chat with my Building Manager the other day, the one with the Chevelle. He liked your car despite thinking it was an XP initially :P. He was updating me on his progress, so much coin being dropped on his 'bargain'. I know you're not into 70's style but I'll have to get pics when he's done. He was telling me about his $20k Boyd Coddington wheels......insane shit, American Muscle seems like an expensive rabbit hole.

Hahahaha   'required maintenance'....haha...'few extras'....

We all know that won't last long Mark.

I just wonder if there's a Chev equiv to ImportMonster.

Just make sure the nutserts are tight Mark, we used to use them while making 1000V boxes at work and every now and again one would spin when trying to do up a bolt. Test run every one you do, cos once you start bolting up the trim it won't be pretty if one spins once the trim is inbetween the nutsert and the bolt.

I just wonder if there's a Chev equiv to ImportMonster.

They have multiple websites and companies of a similar fashion, it's a case of how much do you want to spend. These days you can pretty much build a brand new '32 Ford, '57 Chev or '69 Camaro if you really want to. And then there's modern Corvette chassis swaps, crate motors, the sky is the limit. When you're modding a car that everyone else has been modding for several decades there are plenty of options out there. The difficult part is knowing where to stop.
