Jeez this thing looks clean Mark.
Can't wait to see it in the flesh.. (I'll show you mine if you show me yours??)
Always fixing someone else's dodgy work.....
Yep, but at least you know it will be right.
Its already been decided to stay with hub caps and white walls and there will be no mods other than air ride.
Other than low it will be stock in appearance.
I LOVE THIS BIT!
I just wonder if there's a Chev equiv to ImportMonster.
There are these guys... https://www.yearone.com
On another note, just bought a Nutsert kit
All the interior trims, etc that screw in will be getting Nutserts instead of just metal screws into the body. There's a few screws that are already loose as the hole is damaged over time / use. This way everything will be secured properly.
I did the same on the Ford, works really well.
Just make sure the nutserts are tight Mark, we used to use them while making 1000V boxes at work and every now and again one would spin when trying to do up a bolt. Test run every one you do, cos once you start bolting up the trim it won't be pretty if one spins once the trim is inbetween the nutsert and the bolt.
Yep.
I found the steel ones bite harder than the aluminium ones, plus the thread does't wear with repeated removal/assembly.
