Well things just got a little bit interesting....

I have got my hands on a version 8 STI 207...

It is something that I always wanted to put in the RS, but i wasn't sure it would happen so quickly...

It popped up at a pretty good price and I thought why not...

It came with the front and rear harnesses, as well as the steering column and key plus the a AUS ecu, fuel controller, pretty much everything for the conversion...

Still undecided to get a JDM ecu to make it easier so i don't need the key and immobiliser...

Anyway here is a little pic....

It not going you be a super fast conversion but it will get there.....

So i was just checking out Miguel's thread and thought id just post up a little update...

So I had had some 4/2 Pots there for awhile now and I have finally got round to giving them a sandblast and a new coat of paint....

I have always been a bit of a Kawasaki fan so I thought I would do them Kawasaki green I think they came out awesome....

While I was at it I also had some alloy front control arms, so i attacked them with some  steel wool and then added some clear over the top.

They also got some Hard Race STI bushes pressed into them as well...

Thanks mate...

I removed my pistons and tapped over the hole (Crusin's old thread gave me some ideas)...

Went to Bunnings and got a O-ring kit that would do the job and then put it over the tape, as i was doing a seal kit as well...

But I reckon it would still work with the pistons in as well,

Ah ok. Mine have already been freshly rebuilt so dont want to pull them apart for no reason. Will just get creative with the tape

Probably just a classic red. Should pop nicely against white wheels on white car
