That is a bit of a mission and you'll have to stick to strict times to make it all work. No chance of getting the Monday off? Bargo to the Hunter Valley is about 3.5 hours (on the most direct route via the Pacific Highway).

Nope, it's the first day in a week long training program.

So round trip to where I will be staying is not much less than Melb to the same point! I'm virtually doing Melb-Syd-Melb then back to Syd in three days.

Don't think it will happen.

Following weekend is free and clear, typical...

HVC looks like an issue for me yet again!!

I just can't be arsed, it's a long convoy.

Just looked through the dates, i'll be working anyway.

I think I'm going to upgrade from DSLR to something a bit more run-and-gun before HVC. Was thinking about it last night, and I just dont think a DSLR + slider is going to cut it. When I was looking at the DJI website on Friday night, I noticed they also sell a thing called an "Osmo". It basically renders ALL my camera equipment obsolete, so I think I'm going to pick one of those up and use it in conjunction with quadcopter.

Got a wedding to do this year as well, so I can justify buying it. Also, future proof wise, it shoots in 4K off the bat, so its already better quality than my $3k DSLR.

4k is too much, watched a 4k tv on weekend, it's like 'fork it, this is better def than real life'.

Yep, wouldn't shoot in 4K, my PC won't even load a 4K video, let alone render a 4K movie, but its nice to have the option there.

I like that it does 1080 @ 60fps though, thats a nice touch (As well as the 120fps for super slowmo)
