I thought since it was March we needed a new GT thread.....

Here're some fun facts for March

- March is named after Mars, the Roman god of war. This is probably because the Roman battle season began in spring.

March was called Hlyda, or Lide in Old English, meaning 'loud' referring to the loud March winds.

In the US, March 1 is National Pig Day. It is also Share A Smile Day and Peanut Butter Lover’s Day.

Anyway whats everyone up to on this fine Sunday...

I'm about to have a sleep......

Hello March.

Cleaning out the Garage today then I spose I'll keep plodding along with fixing up the Hobo.

I've had a million questions about the car but no one's actually been out to see it in the flesh or gone for a spin. That's what will sell the car I reckon.

Early days though.

38°C and it's my first chance to get into the shed and press out the fork'd front bearings and upgrade the 12yo floppy rubber trailing arm bushes to some A grade lowest bidder Chinese poly.

3/8 of no chance in hell. Bullshit autumn weather is lies.

^At least its done.

Farkin hard to find a place to live that I like and can afford.

Sick of looking.

Can't wait until I have a place I can bash a nail into a wall that I own.

I'm contemplating quitting two of my jobs and taking the pay cut so I can spend more time with my kids.

Dunno.

Much confused.

Crazy day today. Had a bucks night last night and after going to sleep at 3 am, I had to wake up at 7:30 am to leave the hotel room, get my ass down to Carss Park where I participated in a Beyond Blue charity 6-a-side soccer event called the Ringo George Cup for the entire day representing Bankwest. Four games in the group stage followed by the quarter final, semi-final and grand final. The tournament is in loving memory of two friends and family of the Carss Park Football Club, Ringo Little and George Tsaftaropoulos who took their own lives at just a young age (late teens/early 20's).

Unfortunately we didn't win a match. It's damn crazy how some of these teams played though. Had a few premier league players participating on their own teams too. Ended up hyperextending my groin muscle, possible second degree pull. Shit forking hurts but I should be alright in a couple of days. No soccer next week for me. :(

All in all it was a great day though. Had mad fun, weather was perfect and it was all for a good cause.

I do this daily. On my own. When I'm sad.
