slow response from the front wheels (which, BTW poop, can be affected by different tyres if they have a stiffer sidewall)

the car corners well... but i can't judge what it's doing from the steering wheel

it's just a generally unconnected feel from my front wheels... i can't really feel what they're doing through the steering wheel

sounds like you need a wheel alignment

OMFG... Don't patronise me king-d**k.

The tyres wont make f*ck all difference on your POS. They could be f*cking ply tyres and you wouldnt tell the difference.

The >>>>SWAY BARS<<<<< that hold the chassis upright when cornering will make a much more noticable difference.

Spend $460 and get a front and rear 22mm sway bar. Also the links. Problem solved.
Then the tyres can do their job better.

But no wait. I guess you'll try a full sikhektic carbon strut brace first.....

Leave him alone Paul. Let him keep doing stuff to his car without researching the pro's and con's and legalities. If he starts doing things properly who the fcuk will I laugh at.

Quote of the month for me. Thanks Frank :D

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

Has anyone noticed that Dagwood is like the grumpy old man of the forum? Kind of like the old man that lives in the park under that old tree, that just sits and randomly shouts abuse at people walking past while inappropriately checking out their 13y/o daughters (or sons).

SoupOnAStick, I think I speak for everyone on SC when I say your ranting makes this place just an absolute pleasure to visit every day, and scrolling through the endless censored words you attempt to post just brings so much joy into my heart.

PS. Get a new avatar, for christs sake even bring back the commodore.
PPS. I've fetched you a picture of a dog, with a stick. Its not a pitbull, but your alternative was a picture of fatcat's Dagwood Dog. (not HIS, but just a pict---never mind...)

Hahaha!!! Funny thread.. Alex, my dog brings home a stick like that whenever he goes for a walk. It's wayyyy too funny. Tristan, the rims look good mate. Glad you stuck with the BBS rims, they suit the car well. Floating front end eh? As has been suggested, new front sways will help, eventually... I reckon it would be worth finding the cause first before going out to buy replacement parts. Find the cause before adding a band aid solution kinda mentality. Make sure you coil overs and front shocks are performing proberly. If your front shocks are rooted, then they won't be able to press the wheels down onto the road as promtly as they should, creating the "floaty" or bouncy feeling. Check your links and your steering rack too. Once you've isolated the problem, then go out and get yourself uprated gear.
