its a nice morning here. a bit nippy, but nice in the sun.
new job interview on wednesday. same hospital, different job.
transplant coordinator (kidney and pancreas)
i hope i get it.
means i'll be on the road more (which i terribly miss).
also means i can do blitz interstate trips for organ retrieval. no time for visits, alas.

Nik.. what you brewing today?
My latest batch is fermenting away nicely.. so far so good.. I had a sneaky taste while doing an SG reading and it shows promise! (not at the level of yours but good for me)

I'm brewing batch #2 of the whisky ale... I'm actually going to barrel ferment for the first time. Should be interesting.

First measurement was higher than the hydrometer could actually read.. the entire measurement part was out of the wort.
after about 12 hours it was down to 1.040, its now down to about 1.018
