Lukosh; how high are you tipping it? What temp was the first 12? Sounds like it started around 1045-1050 - where are you looking to finish? 1050 puts it in a bit of a pale ale range on balance, yes?

it's pub day.
I have my staff review at 2:30. Should take my B0$$ down to the pub, get him smashed, and then ask for a mad pay rise.

Walts, it's not pub day.... today is the day that you lose the race. Russian arse mofo. I'm on the moon homie. Unless you got stalker patrol about to bust through my doors and drop me - I got this.

First 12 hours temp sat at about 22 degrees, looking to finish at about 1.014 - 1.012, I am thinking you are right probably around the 1.050 starting mark... my Hydrometer only goes to 1.040... *** (NFI if others are better... probably) It is supposed to be a Pale Ale... so heres to hoping...
I'm going to ask a noob Q here... "how high are you tipping it?" I don't actually know what you mean

Just as it sounds browery, just wondering what alcohol level you think it's going to finish at. If it started at 1050 and you finish at 1014 you will be getting a 4.7% brew.
A hydrometer that only goes to 1040 is ******* dumb.

Not in one day mate, but today is the day you lose. Unless you're planning on going out on some crazy binge of silly posting which would forever tarnish the milestone.
You don't want to go out like that, Tom. Do you?

What's for lunch at the pub, mate?
Anyone else decided to leave a job, then have a really good day where it makes you re think your decision?
No, sorry. Explain?
dfluxcapacitor; welcome.

Yeah around the 1.050 is my bet.
I agree that it is homo, I will be investing in a new hydrometer for my next batch, once with less faggotry involved.
One I have was just a cheap ass freebie that come with the fermenter

I have been hating my current job so I went for an interview, was successful and am waiting for a letter of offer. But in the mean time I am seeing all the good things at my current job more often.
Alex,
Glad I'm not the only one! I think it's just nerves about making the wrong decision. But in the end it's a new job, not a life long decision!
Also, that pic was lol worthy!
