Walts: Agreed completely on Adelaide Oval. They were doing the cricket members upgrades when I was there, god knows where my photos are. We just walked in there... was pretty funny, got in a bit of trouble when they found us on the grass!

I'm sure they could buy out the lease if they wanted.

They change over every 4 years.

Also got an 08 WRX and keen to upgrade that to the new STi :)

Lease > ownership for a lot of people. B0$$ like is to run a lease and upgrade every year or two.

Yeah, for some it can have tax benefits... other than that it is just a nice quick way to say goodbye to cash.

you guys aren't funny anymore.

This is church young man, you can not speak like that in a house of worship...

Say ten hail turbos and set yourself on fire. Go now my son.

Depends the bracket of car, flipping luxuries is going to cost a lot more than leasing correctly.

It's a blokes 80th birthday at work today. 80!!!! and still an engineer working.

What a madcat.

Apparently he retired once, but got bored and came back to work.

He even googles stuff and emails everyone etc.

We had a huge cake for morning tea. :D

Anything over about the 28K mark is where you will loose out by trading every few years - first three years of a cars life is generally where they loose the most significant portion of their value.

It's not trading, Lukosh. Lease agreements by kilometres used over time of possession. You can run a closed lease with predetermined EOL valuations when you're in the big dog game. You could be looking at changing out only $20/30K to upgrade a 2008 7 series to a 2011 model.

Haha I have thought about this. Would be fun. But I need something comfortable, reliable and not bomb-ish
