Now that there's a small posse of RS owners on the forum I thought I'd start a thread for the parts we're chasing and general RS related talk.

First up for me are engine bits:

- replacement intake hoses. Thinking I'll have to go with silicone units (black) as I can't get genuine :(

- replacement bov. I'd like a plumb back in unit. Total noob in this department. I don't want anything that's bling bling.

And I'm a little annoyed as I've already purchased replacement HGs - but have realised I probably need oversized bore HGs. I need to talk to the builders to confirm.

I'm also chasing a lead on the seal inside the IAWC pump if anyone has any ideas on mods or leads ;)

Anyway, any leads on the above are greatly appreciated.

Regards

Bennie

Specifically which intake hoses do you need that you can't get genuine?

Pre and post turbo elbows. Mine are super hard, cracked and one has a super dodgy brothers repair job.

Cheers

You can buy the pre turbo rubber elbow genuine new. A mate accidentally purchased 3 on his last partsorq order, so he's got one if you want.

As for post turbo. Better off spending $70 on eBay silicon or $130 on samco silicone for a v1/2wrx. The stock plastic piece is restrictive and not very good. If you can find one the oem v1/2 sti silicone piece is very nice too

There's only one type of silicone hose available on eBay and it looks nothing like what I need :/

Where would I find the samco unit?

They're a v1/2 wrx part.
I put a one on my Rs a couple of months back to replace the split original.
Because your car is ADM, I think you'll have to re route one breather port to the 90deg bend.
