state colours are different, too.
Rego plate 'theft'?

I have seen a Tasmanian classic car (make, model, year) carrying the identical three letter, three number combo as my ex-wife's car.
Both are 100% legit, only difference was Vic plates are black/white and Tas were silver/blue IIRC.
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

But the chance of someone having the same make model and coloured vehicle with custom plates from a different state the same as the vehicle in question would be like winning lotto every weekend for the rest of 2017.
I too agree with changing the plates. I doubt your rego mob will come to the party though
Cheers
Bennie

Toll notice cancelled; a bit of to and fro and are those 'plates' still out there?

Did they come knocking with a SWAT team?
No , only because i reported the missing plates immediately on a friday.
The police were very help full and said , i could drive the car over the weekend with no plates , as long as i got replacement plates on monday.
I'm glad that they were just standard issue plates and didn't cost much to replace!
