I think they're about 180kw/300nm. I've not personally driven one, but have heard good things about how smooth the power delivery is. The turbo obviously offers easier modification and more torque, but the H6 has no turbo lag. I stick to 4cyl because the rego and economy is a little better, but would have probably gone the H6 Gen4 had money been more of a factor for me when I bought the WRX to update my tiring Gen3 B4.

If you can find a tidy 2.5T GT then that would be my pick though, 4cyl turbo Subaru's are fantastic. I was just suggesting it as an alternate option before considering a Gen5.

I don't think I'll go gen 5 even though they are a bit better than the gen 4.. I just don't like the look :)

In terms of power they should be around the same when stock.

Pros for the h6 manual would be a stronger 6 speed and r180 diff.

Pros for the gt would be cheaper power increase from mods. Better fuel consumption and if you get a spec b you'd also have the 6 speed box and stronger r180 diff.

The H6 does really wake up if you have E85 nearby and get a tune. Also supercharger options are available.

I can get E10 from one place around here but anything is better than nothing but a flex fuel 2.5T GT might be a good option.
