Lake Haven is mostly shitty. Has ok areas. The whole of Wyong and Watanobbi are awful. Basically the only places I really need to lock the truck in outlet huge delivery area. Mardi is secluded enough

Watanobbi is a bit of a low income area.. so you have that.

It's not too bad at tuggerah or up at lake haven.

You haven't lived here long enough if you think Lake Haven isn't to bad...
Would be on par with woy woy

Had these bad boys in at work the other day. Very tidy for their age.

They are way cool. Love old original cars.

Many years ago a mate owned an ex NSW HWP VK. White, 5.0V8, 4sp, A/C but no power steer. Had a mild cam and zorst fitted by previous owner (the bloke who got it from the cops).

Went like fk. We did a warp speed run from Echuca to Deniliquin, even back then we would have been locked up if caught!

I knew you'd appreciate that Hoony.
Don't know if the Ford is a ridgy didge cop car but the VK very well looks like it.
Anyway, It's great to see cars of that era kept in such good condition.

Oh well it's my local shops. But I think cause of the new estate areas being built, it's a bit better than it used to be.

But I know what you mean.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

IIRC VK cop cars got a 1" bore brake master instead of 15/16".  The Highway cars got that, plus a round speedo dial instead of that rubbish square thing the others had.

I know my mates had all that plus all the door switches were disconnected, probably so the five-o could sit on the side of the road at night with the door open.

They were a little better than the VK. Was still just Australia trying to wow the world with home grown tech and failed miserably.
