Nice fire extinguisher mount. Its the same as the one I put in my car. I just bent some alu and drilled some holes and mounted it onto the front seat bolts.

hey lance, picked it from tuspeed. here is the link http://tuspeed.com/s...link-p-470.html The autronic is tuned pretty rich and safe, but I thought it would be worth the investment.

Hey this is directed at Frank more than anyone. I was intending to build a turbo block from scratch and slotting it in my Prezal. But really after weighing up the cost vs the reward, and the fact that a Ninja 250 is cheaper and faster than an engine build, I'm thinking maybe just reworking the internals and cam shafts to give it a bit more performance. It's an EJ25, just need to know if replacing the internals on an N/A would see the same sort of benefit as it has with this engine. I've seen internal work do wonders on V8's but Boxers are as we know totally different. My weapons of choice would be Cosworth through BEL in Syd. If you think it'd be a lost cause I'll just leave the engine stock and get my adrenalin from bikes instead, but your opinion would be appreciated. By the way I love where this car is headed, and what you've done to it so far, I remember back when Rhys had the RX and was whinging about how slow it was...go the Bris scene. Thanks. Nick

If thy tint is dark and thy wheels are black thou car be declared b11tchin'

So you can run it on 6psi with an rx fuel pump? :P

Hi Nick,
It's been ages.
Unfortunately I would not recommend either avenue for gaining performance. Bikes are bloody dangerous, been there, done that, and traffic is 3 times as bad as when I was riding.
If you are still on your P's just hold out a little while longer and go straight to a turbo lib or WRX.
Rhys was very smart to buy my car and that is what I'd recommend to any young bloke looking to get into a turbo Subaru.
As Tony Montana would say:
In this country, you gotta make the money first.
Then when you get the money, you get the power.
Then when you get the power, then you get the women.

Rhys or frank, Im looking at getting a pwr radiator when I get my conversion would you recommend them? I've heard they have more issues with electrolysis than other alloy radiators but obviously you've had no issues with stray currents etc? Is yours just a bugeye unit or a remake of the b4 unit? Thanks matt

Just use a Natrad branded Standard B4 one... Thats what i use and its perfect. Bugeye and B4 are different im pretty sure, Bugeye having a Radiator cap on the tank

that was my first idea bit I was kinda hoping to get a bit of a safety margin with an uprated radiator as i wanted to do some track work,
with that in mind would the b4 one still be ok?

and I'm probably wrong, but I'm sure the bugeye radiators still fit
into gen3's as the mounting positions are the same, and yeah I've
noticed for some reason some bugeyes had a cap on the radiator
and some didn't?

Not since the gauges have gone in. Career change has put the car on hold until I can earn more. Currently working as a system engineer for a IBM business partner building and configuring system i, system x servers. Anyone used a green screen terminal before? Anyways, slipping clutch would be on the to do list for my next job. then save for. 6 speed conversion...

As for the radiator questions, no idea. Im very happy with franks previous work with using the PWR radiator, ive never had a single problem with it. This car is still completely spanks every commodore or falcon in the next lane at the lights. Gotta love the ej257.

id like to drive your setup, I think it would be much more fun to drive than mine, We have a car her in ACT with a similar setup to yours but SR40, which made 257kw's on 22PSI and fullboost at 4000rpm and a bucket load of torque.
