The GT is looking decidedly plain today.

STi rims dropped in today to get repaired and repainted in charcoal. STi lip removed for the JDM GT spec B bumper swap this weekend. :D

JDM Spec B bumper and Corazon grille fitted courteousy of the swap with Clarence. Paints a little different but it will be rectified in the near future. Genuine STi lip to suit enroute from Japan. Rear Brembos and STi braided lines fitted, still waiting on shims to fit the fronts. 6000K hid fogs installed. Rear strakes fitted, but still unsure on them. I have an oem JDM rear lip coming so it should tie in with that when fitted.

Enkie's reborn. :D

I cant fault the work of Neway Wheels. Theyre immaculate. I had them repaired and 2 pac'd in Subaru 36Y Onyx Metallic.

Tint gets done next week and should tie in nicely.

Tint will make a big difference in the overall look Mark.
Have you stripped the old stuff off?

I can't help thinking the colour combo should be the other way around; dark brakes, light wheels.

Tint will indeed make a massive difference I think. Yes I have stripped all the old stuff out. With the dark tint, black STi lip and smoked taillights It should come together nicely. :D

Cheers Alex.

Nuts are RAYS duralium. Sooooo freaking light, but I just bought them cos they were black and cheap. The edges do mark with use however to show a little alloy color.

Ahh. I saw those.

I'm keen for a set of something I can attack with my rattle gun, and not worry about consequences.

The RAYS aluminium ones aren't my bag. I am rocking a set of aluminium ones presently, and having to hand tighten them gives me the poopies.

You should never tighten wheel nuts with a rattle gun... ever.

In fact you shouldn't do ANYTHING up with a rattle gun.

I always do mine by hand and use a torque wrench. Even when I have to take it to a tyre place, I tell them no rattle guns to tighten AT ALL.

Torque wrench is a bit anal, tight plus a little nip is fine.

Rattle gun is just down right dangerous.

Who said anything about tightening with a rattle gun?

I guess I was hinting at it... But what I meant was loosening.

But thanks for the tip Soop. What would I do without you?
