I bought a "Haigh Battery Link" microprocessor controlled thing. Was looking at it just before and noticed the leads have terminal ends attached to the clamps
Was thinking of just using those and mounting the connector in the eng bay.
Good idea or not??

Has anyone checked the current draw??????Went back to autobarns this arv, battery was fully charged, apparently was just flat , anyway we put it back in and as was taking the neg lead off dude noticed it was sparking a bit (power being drawn when off).... think it time to get the brant ripped.
What does this do?I bought a "Haigh Battery Link" microprocessor controlled thing.
If they go to the thingy, you could wire it to the fuse box in the cabin also. Was looking at it just before and noticed the leads have terminal ends attached to the clamps

Has anyone checked the current draw??????
no, he was going to when the battery was charged (something bout a weak battery can affect the reading) but when he saw it spark said that if it sparking its obviously drawing current so he didn't bother
2nd from top, MCU036What does this do?
can leave it on virtually forever
Sweet I'll be happy with eng bay... will just save having to use the clamps and prob give a better connectionIf they go to the thingy, you could wire it to the fuse box in the cabin also.
cheers mate!

Why is it the brants fault? Everyone blames everything on the brant
No one else has this probably with the brant
No one else apart from everyone?

uhmm.......yeah they do, the brant alarm draws a fair chunk of currentWell no one else with the brant has there battery flatterned by it
if i dont drive my car for a few days i have to have it on a trickle battery charge
I should just convert to single, right?As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;
"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

Hopefully no damage done, car seemed fine afterwardsVoltage spike right there!
Sweet, good to hear.I Have a trickle charger plug permanately plugged into my battery. No problems so far...
As for the sparks..doesn't your stereo constantly draw power and things, My car goes dead after about a week of not driving with a rhino immobiliser, its all part of having an alarm trickle charger you have now should mean you don't need to rip out the brant
yeah, would be good I keep it.

Unlikely to cause serious damage, just something to be aware of.

Nearly half an amp!down to a steady .38 - .45
Enough to flatten the battery if it's not driven often.
I would be interesting to see what the draw would be if the Brant was disconnected.
